Calligrapher, Researcher and painter.
Head of the Graphic Design Department, Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune
Highest qualifications in Art and Design area. He has completed his B.F.A in Applied Art (G.D.Art Applied-4Yrs) in 1993 and Art Teachers Diploma (A.T.D-1Yr) in 1994 , Diploma in Art Education (Dip.A.Ed.-1Yrs) in 1997 from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, B.F.A in Fine Art (G.D. Art Fine-4Yrs) 1998 from Raheja School of Art, Mumbai and Masters in Indology with specialization in ‘History of Indian Script’ in 2005, Masters in Applied Art and Ph.D in Devangri Script letterform study in 2019 from the very reputed 200yr old Deccan College, Pune.
Currently he is working in Symbiosis Inst. of Design as Head of the Dept. Communication Design GD. Teaching various design courses from last 15 years. He is being working as a Calligrapher, Illustrator and designer from last 20 Years. His specially known for his calligraphy application paintings and more popular for the same in India and abroad.
The Calligraphy paintings made by him are appreciated by many art lovers, art collectors and experts from India and Abroad. He displayed more than 15 solo and 30 group shows in many places of India and abroad.
His 10 Calligraphy work has found place in most distinguished ‘International Calligraphy Museum, Moscow, Russia’. He also participated and Exhibited his Calligraphy paintings in 29 the Calligraphy Conference in Minneapolis, U.S.A. He was honored by giving him membership of ASA – ‘Association of Calligraphic Art, America’, as the first member in their Association from India.
